Remarks on a Case of "Morbillose Blutdissolution," or the So-Called Morbillous Dissolution of the Blood

In the belief that recorded observations on the above disease in this country are rare, and that descriptions of its pathological anatomy are equally so, it is hoped that the following notes of a fatal case which was lately under my treatment may be of interest. An isolated case of measles was admitted into the depot hospital here on the 3rd of September last, having occurred in the person of a soldier, aged 40, and who had been 14 years in India. There was nothing remarkable in the previous history of his case, except an unusual freedom from the climatic diseases of this country, and a statement that, to the best of his belief, he had not had measles previously.
